Congress: Let Medicare Negotiate!

Big Pharma's greed forces patients to choose between paying for medication and paying the bills. But there's a solution being debated in Congress right now: Let Medicare negotiate directly to lower the price of prescriptions.

Drug prices are out of control:

  • Americans pay twice as much for prescription drugs as other nations.

  • Nearly 1 in 3 adults report not taking their medicines as prescribed due to cost.

  • 42% of cancer patients deplete their entire net worth within the first 2 years of treatment, in part due to high drug prices.

Medicare negotiation will lower prices and fix our broken system

  • Drug corporations will be required to justify their high prices, and Medicare would be allowed to curb unfair price hikes.

Americans overwhelmingly support the plan:

  • 86% of Americans -- majorities of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents -- support allowing Medicare to negotiate.

Big Pharma is lobbying furiously to protect its profits, but Congress needs to listen to patients. Raise your voice and tell your representatives: Let Medicare Negotiate!
